​Founded in 2008 with a registered capital of 55 million CNY, Shanghai Kimkey Environmental S&T Stock Co., Ltd. is located in the Zhangjiang National Hi-Tech Development Park in Shanghai. Recognized as a Shanghai Municipality High-Tech Enterprise, the company completed its corporate restructuring in April 2011 and was subsequently listed on the Shanghai Equity Exchange in September 2013 under Stock Number 100095.

Kimkey specializes in the research and application of high-polymer solid organic waste pyrolysis technology. The company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including research and development, systems integration, equipment sales, installation, training, and after-sales support.

The company maintains strong collaborative ties with leading domestic academic institutions to drive innovation and research. These include partnerships with Tongji University, Zhejiang University, East China University of Science and Technology, Xi’an University of Science and Technology, and Kunming University. Notably, Kimkey established the Tongji-Kimkey Institute in cooperation with Tongji University.

In 2012, Kimkey developed and commercialized China's first fully integrated industrial waste tire pyrolysis system, which passed technical appraisal by the Ministry of Industry. Building on this success, the company introduced China’s first complete pyrolysis system for municipal solid waste after three years of development. Since 2015, Kimkey has continuously expanded its pyrolysis technology to new applications, including straw, oil sludge, sewage sludge, and other forms of organic solid waste.

Today, Kimkey offers a broad portfolio of pyrolysis solutions addressing the disposal needs of waste rubber, plastics, domestic garbage, biomass, and various sludge materials. The company continues to lead through technical innovation, experience, and commitment to environmental sustainability.
